If you use Prepaid Blackberry plan and it was activated but still you cannot see EDGE or GPRS you may try the following

First make sure that your data connection is “ON” by going to “Manage connections > Mobile Network Options > Data Services”

  1. Go to options
  2. Click advanced options
  3. Click Host Routing Table
  4. Click blackberry key and click “Register Now”

If after a few seconds still don’t get data signal then pull out the battery and wat for 1 minute, then place it again

If the above doesn’t help you should contact your network operator’s support
